These two sexy Latinas eventually made there way to Disney where Selena would land her breakout role as Alex Ruesso on Wizards of Waverly Place.
Demi persued music and was cast as Mitchie Tores in the first Camp Rock movie.
As each girl became more and more popular, many people started to wonder if their friendship would last. But they stuck together eventually getting to film a movie, Princess Protection Program together
The girls were all over each other at the primiere, and at the prom they crashed that night, leading some to wonder if there might be more to their relationship than just friendship.
Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever and as the girls got back to their own projects and seperate busy schegules, they began to drift apart. Selena started spending a lot of time with Gal pal Taylor swift while Demi began to hit it off with fellow DC star Miley Cyrus. And to top it off, they had a fight over a guy, Taylor Launter of Twilight.
It looked like it might be the end for "Delena" - a real shame considering just how hot these two girls are!
Just when everything looked lost, a blessing in disguise? The stress finally got to be oo much for Demi in the fall of 2010 and she had a breakdown while on tour. She ended up leaving the tour to seek treatment and her former BFF quickly lept to her defence offering numorus statements of support including one interview in Chile where she directly refers to Demi as her best friend again! Only time will tell if Selena and Demi will finally mend their friendship or if this life long friendship is just another hollywood casualty.
